This is an image, courtesy of Drives, showing a pneumatic flower display put in the offices of a ten-storey office block in Spitalfields, London. In repsonse to movement, these flowers start to move - and presumably scare the hell out of you if you were unlucky enough to be the one to set them off! The petals also open in response to sunlight and random patterns.

The display was designed by a group of artists, who call themselves Greyworld. Now, what is wrong with real flowers, is nature not artistic enough? It’s certainly much quieter and less scary looking. Read the complete article on the Drives website.
